The ResQ FiresimulatorThe simulator was designed to contribute more realism to the RoboCup Rescue domain by utilising physical laws. The simulated physical effects include direct heat transport, convection and radiation. Some features of the ResQ Firesimulator:- wind effect
- large open spaces behave as natural fire barriers
- non burning buildings can be protected by preemptive extinguishment with less efford compared to classic extinguish actions
- due to adjustable parameters the simulation behaviour can be changed dramatically
- "what you see is what you get" parameter setup mode
- java based: runs on a large number of operating systems without recompiling
- low CPU usage
