Desirable Properties for Fieldable SLAM

In this talk, I will discuss the properties desired for fieldable SLAM solutions. I will talk about various categories of applications that require the use of SLAM technology. I will give example applications in each category. I will discuss the various properties that are desired for SLAM algorithms and how these relate to the envisioned missions. The discussion will be based on the work we have done using localization and mapping.
